Accumedia, Inc. Names Michael Millikin Vice President of Products & Business Development

Accumedia, a provider of web services content management and delivery solutions, announced new Vice President of Products & Business Development.

February 25, 2002 (BOULDER, CO): Accumedia, a provider of web services content management and delivery solutions, announced the appointment of Michael Millikin as Vice President of Products & Business Development.

As the latest addition to Accumedias management team, Millikin brings an extensive background in distributed computing and Internet technology as well as operational experience in the media market. Previously, Mr. Millikin ran the online division of Red Herring Communications as Senior Vice President of Online, and almost quintupled annual revenue to more than $13M.

Prior to his position with Red Herring, Mr. Millikin served in a number of senior executive positions over technology and product management with Pilot Network Services, Softbank/Ziff-Davis, and Patricia Seybolds Office Computing Group.

As Pilots VP of Business Development and Operations, Mr. Millikin helped this provider of managed Internet security and hosting solutions through its successful IPO. At Softbank/Ziff-Davis, Mr. Millikin built up a division from $25M to more than $90M in global revenue, and launched the first for-profit Internet line of business at the company. While at Seybold, Mr. Millikin ran the distributed computing service, and participated in the founding of the Object Management Group (OMG), which established and manages the CORBA standards.
