Redjacket to Perform at Benefit Show for Silent Ears
The singer/songwriter/guitarist will be performing at a benefit show with 4 other acts for The Friends of Deaf Ireland Foundation on March 16th at 7 pm at the Triad Theatre in New York City.

Red Jacket to Perform at Benefit Show for Silent Ears
NEW YORK, NY (March 7, 2002) - Red Jacket, the New York City based singer/songwriter/guitarist, will be performing live at a benefit show for the Friends of Deaf Ireland Foundation on Saturday, March 16th at the Triad Theatre. Red Jacket and 4 other artists will be performing songs along with an interpreter who will translate the lyrics of each of the performers songs to the audience through sign language. Music is not only for the listening ear but it is also an interactive medium that can be felt and seen.
The benefit show begins at 7pm with Red Jacket followed by Gina Holsopple (8 pm ), Bree Sharp (9 pm), The Raffel (9:30 pm) and The Artist Randall (10:00 pm). There is a ten-dollar cover charge with all proceeds going to the Friends of Deaf Ireland Foundation. FDIF provides funds for deaf people in Ireland who need assist to improve their education, fight for their civil rights, expand vocational training programs and support schools for deaf pre-K children.
Red Jacket is Lisa Biancaniello. Her music is a blend of alt-rock, psychedelia, blues, and sonic sensibility. Her lyrics are confessional, cryptic, and obscure.
