GCS-PR, of San Diego, has been selected by three major real estates companies. The clients and the agency programs are: Westfield America, public relations support for the $100 million expansion of Westfield Shopping Town UTC; C.W. Clark for public relations, marketing communications and Web site development; and Shea Homes for Hispanic marketing.

SAN DIEGO – GCS Public Relations has been selected to implement programs for Westfield Shoppingtown UTC, Shea Homes and C.W. Clark, three of the largest companies working in their respective real estate development and property management niches.
GCS will provide public relations support to Westfield Shoppingtown UTC as it implements a $100 million enhancement to create the look and feel of a Mediterranean village, expand major department stores and add many new shops and services. Westfield Shoppingtown UTC is a joint venture between Westfield America, Inc., and JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management. Westfield is one of the nations leading owners of regional shopping centers, with ownership interest in 48 major centers in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio and Washington. Tom Gable, CEO of GCS, will manage the Westfield program.
The agency is counseling Shea Homes on Hispanic marketing for its residential home developments in the South Bay as well as conducting market research on Hispanic home ownership trends and consumer preferences. SheaHomes has been committed to customer caring since 1881 and is now the nations largest privately held homebuilder. Jose Moreno, GCS director of Hispanic marketing, will manage the SheaHomes program.
C.W. Clark, one of the regions most experienced real estate developers, turned to GCS for a media relations and marketing communications program as the commercial real estate developer and property manager expands beyond Southern California into Arizona. Founded by Craig Clark in 1973, C.W. Clark ranks among the 10 largest, active shopping center developers in San Diego County. Since 2000, the company has developed approximately 340,000 square feet of space valued at $73.5 million. GCS Partner Rick Cook will manage the Clark program.
