Revised May3, 2002 --- Global Consignment Rentals Inc. announced today it is open for business. Effective immediately ConsignmentRentals.com is announcing its unique brokerage system to the public. In an uncommon move, Doug MacCallum, principle & founder, announced not just his company but an industry development. Providing opportunity to potential new business owners to create a "Rental/Brokerage Industry".
In the beginning Global Consignment Rentals Inc. will build an internal administration, seek alliances with potential suppliers and encourage 1st generation ConsignmentRental storeowners to open for business. Global Consignment Rentals Inc. will encourage operators to open stores under ConsignmentRentals.com "Good Business Guidelines". Funded by individual and company memberships, Global Consignment Rentals Inc. and ConsignmentRentals.com will grow and become the Portal to the variety of participating stores and act as a member services resource center. In the future, the Portal will be also the link for consumers to showcase all co-operating stores inventories .
The concept of Global Consignment Rentals Inc. is to borrow under a contract, acceptable merchandise from one party and rent the merchandise to another party for a price. At the end of the cycle the original owner is compensated based on the agreed upon contract. Inventory levels are unlimited and opportunities abound for creative entrepreneurs. Global Consignment Rentals Inc. will encourage each store to be involved in community development as a way to build strong alliances and gain market acceptability.
This is a Win, Win, Win Program ... good for potential new business operators who in the past could not afford expensive inventories, good for the consumers who require articles at reasonable and competitive prices, good for home owners as investors who supply their goods in exchange for agreed upon compensation and good for the environment by making better use of unwanted or unused equipment through this unique recycling brokerage program.
At this stage of its incubation period, Global Consignment Rentals Inc. has no plans to go public in order to make quick decisions for the benefit of the fledgling industry. Its important to get off on the right foot in this new concept, remain flexible, keep a positive momentum, and build a stable environment while being proactive and encouraging to Entrepreneurs who wish to startup stores. As a Brokerage Business… this may be seen as a recession proof micro Industry in the works.
