EFI Announces eBeam Tech Fund for Education -
Non-profits Now Eligible to Apply for Free Digital Whiteboard System
Educational institutions, government agencies and other non-profit organizations can now qualify to receive technology grants in the form of FREE or discounted eBeam interactive whiteboard systems.
Foster City, CA -- May 21, 2002 -- Electronics For Imaging (Nasdaq: EFII),
the world leader in software and hardware imaging solutions for network printing, today announced the eBeam Tech Fund for Education program.
Educational institutions, government agencies and other non-profit organizations can now qualify to receive technology grants in the form of
FREE or discounted eBeam interactive whiteboard systems. Qualified applicants are invited to submit a brief proposal describing how their
organization will integrate the eBeam Systems unique, idea-sharing technology into its learning or working environment by June 30, 2002.
The eBeam System can turn any regular dry-erase whiteboard into a powerfully interactive communication tool. eBeam instantly captures and transfers handwritten notes and drawings from an existing whiteboard or flipchart to a Mac or PC. Available in two compact designs, the eBeam System attaches to a board so lecture notes, brainstorm sessions and written ideas can be saved, edited, printed, emailed, beamed to a Palm handheld or shared over the Internet in real-time. The eBeam System, with the assistance of a data projector, can also turn any whiteboard into a virtual touch screen so individuals can control their computer directly from the board.

Application forms are available now at
http://www.e-beam.com/links/techfund.html. Proposals will be accepted until
