Mile High Karate, with 15 locations throughout Colorado, recently announced their newest and latest locations: 19557 East Parker Square Drive in Parker, CO and 3977-3979 East 120th Avenue in Thornton, CO.

The Parker and Thornton schools, which opened in late April, feature a wide range of classes including a Little Ninja program for young children, White Belt, Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced, Kids Sparring, MC Sparring and Black Belt programs.

Im very pleased that we will be able to offer our unique Martial Arts programming to the children and parents in the Parker and Thornton areas. Our two new locations will employ at least five full time instructors and cater to approximately 300 Martial Arts students ranging from kindergarten to fourth grade and their parents,” noted Seventh Degree Master Instructor and founder of Mile High Karate, Stephen Oliver.

KICKING UP STANDARDS
Emphasizing character education and the fundamental beliefs of Martial Arts, Mile High Karate builds a strong foundation for youths to grow upon. Mile High Karate strives to set new and demanding standards for innovative programming, compassionate and inspiring teaching, community outreach, and student development. Through their unique fundraiser programs with the Denver/Boulder Metro area elementary schools, Mile High Karate has collectively raised over $120,000 for the areas schools.

Mile High Karate is a key supporter of Chuck Norris' Kick Drugs Out of America Program and Mile High Karate has raised over $50,000.00 to help fund their program - and through Educational Funding Company's efforts has been partially responsible for over $500,000.00 for Kick Drugs Out of America

Mile High Karate, serving Littleton, Englewood, Highlands Ranch, Aurora, Lakewood, South Jefferson County, Parker, Castlerock, Denver, Arvada, Westminster, Broomfield, Lafayette, Northglenn, Thornton, Boulder, and Louisville, Colorado, has provided Martial Arts and Karate lessons for adults and children in the Denver/Boulder Metro area since 1983.

Founded by Seventh Degree Master Instructor Stephen Oliver, Mile High Karate strives to make a positive impact on both students and the community. From consistent programming and focused teaching to kick-a-thons and food drives, Mile High Karate is setting standards for the Martial Arts industry.

Master Stephen Oliver has been repeatedly recognized internationally for his contributions to the martial arts industry and continues to grow the Mile High Karate organization while instructing schools internationally to be more effective in their teaching and management practices.

In 1989 he founded the Mile High Karate Classic martial arts tournament - which was one of the highest rated (NASKA "AAA") events in the Western United States and one of the top martial arts competitive events in the world. He went on to serve on the Board of Directors of the North American Sport Karate Association and became Sanctioning Director - responsible for rating World Tour and National Tournaments and for quality control of the martial arts events. He promoted the Mile High Karate Classic for 10 years from 1989 until 1999 and served on the Board of Directors of NASKA for that same period of time.
