EMSI and IPipeline Joint Venture
Provides Free Online Services to Insurance Agents
May 22, 2002 – Dallas – Examination Management Services, Inc. (EMSI) has joined forces with another insurance industry leader, Internet Pipeline (IPipeline), to develop a strategic innovative software package designed to reduce insurance processing delays.
EMSI, one of the nations largest paramedical service providers, and IPipeline, an esolutions company for the insurance industry, saw a key opportunity to improve insurance selling and processing systems by integrating two independent technologies into one package that provides a complete processing solution. The MyAgencyŌ software is the first fully integrated suite of web-based tools that focuses on the point of sale to help brokers sell and process insurance faster than ever before.
EMSI Senior Vice President Keith Hoeffner said it made sense to integrate EMSIs expertise in on-line ordering processes for paramed exams, APS ordering, inspections and call-center application fulfillment with the unique software available from IPipeline. EMSIs long-standing strengths were a perfect match for IPipelines software," he said. Packaging our on-line ordering capabilities with their software solutions has brought the brokerage community a revolutionary resource destined to change the way they do business."
MyAgency was developed by IPipeline to help brokers streamline their administrative tasks by reducing paperwork and application processing time. Current systems require brokers to enter the same information into a variety of software packages, wasting valuable time and leaving room for processing mistakes and underwriting delays. MyAgency manages, tracks and updates all life, LTC and annuities content from more than 100 top insurance companies, saving brokers hours each day by allowing them to accomplish all their data entry tasks in one place. Because everything is stored electronically, MyAgency eliminates the paper shuffling, and the on-line ordering capability allows brokers to electronically request paramedical exams, inspections, APSs and check status without having to call a local paramed.
EMSI is committed to building solutions that make it easier for our customers to do business with us," said Hoeffner. We recognized that paramedical services are just one piece of the selling cycle and that by integrating those services with MyAgency, we are helping deliver a complete tool to the industry that makes the entire selling process easier," he said. This truly gives us a leg up on our competitors."
