Students Website To Offer Technical Support for Individuals and Businesses

Two high school students from Ovidedo Florida have created a website to allow small businesses and individuals to outsource their technical support. These two individuals are currently looking for corporate sponsorship.

(PRWEB) June 5, 2002 -- Two Florida High School students have developed a service to give individuals as well as small business' the ability to outsource much of their Technical Support load. They are currently answering questions about familar as well as more obscure products ranging from Corel Wordperfect to Wireless Networking. This service has been developed to allow customers to recieve answers both by email and over the phone. This site, http://www.hyperiontech.netfirms.com, has recently opened its doors and is now accepting customers as well as corperate sponsers and support.

This site is a brainchild of Steve Spalding and Brett Jackson of Florida who, until recently, had not even considered themselves to be businessmen. However, each of them held a belief that computer problems and the headaches that can result from them were one of the major issues that slowed the productivity of modern day computer owners.

Their website, Hyperion Support, offers various services geared towards the novice computer user. It comes complete with a Bookstore, offering several titles that the two have found useful; editorials, in which they make weekly statements on the state of their business, technology, and technically related issues; as well as what Steven calls, "The Lab." The Lab is a service that will be opened in the near future to, "provide viewers with an objective comparison of the latest consumer electronic products."

The two young men have high hopes for their site and the business that they hope to spawn from it. They are currently searching out company's that are willing to use their infrastructure to supplement their current technical support load, "It seems to me that companies today would much rather spend a small flat fee for service than the exorbenant costs of hiring full time employee's."

Both Steven and Brett are looking towards the future. They both plan on pursuing careers in engineering and Steven says that Hyperion Support is only a stepping stone towards a larger goal, "I have recently decided that I like the idea of owning my own business. Working for myself energizes me. I feel in today's economy the greatest thrill for a young engineer would be building a company -- building the future with your bare hands, now wouldn't that be a thrill?"

Brett Jackson plans to continue to expand the foundation that Steven has created, adding new content as well as improving on the content that currently exists.
