NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 4, 2002) -The Nashville New Music Conference (2NMC), will present their second annual conference Wednesday, October 9 - Sunday, October 13, 2002 in Nashville, TN. The five-day, four-night music showcase for emerging artists of all genres, is now accepting submissions.

NASHVILLE NEW MUSIC CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES DATES
Wednesday, October 9-Sunday, October 13, 2002

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 5, 2002) -The Nashville New Music Conference (2NMC), will present their second annual conference Wednesday, October 9 - Sunday, October 13, 2002 in Nashville, TN. The five-day, four-night music showcase
for emerging artists of all genres, is now accepting submissions.

Daytime conference events will be held Thursday through Sunday, at The Ramada Inn & Conference Center - the official host hotel of 2NMC. Highlights of daytime events include: a trade show, technology forum, panel discussions, mentor sessions, keynote speakers and a studio tour of Nashville. Nighttime events, held Wednesday through Saturday, will be held in Nashville
music venues, and will feature artist showcases featuring a wide variety genres including: Rock, Pop, R&B, Singer-Songwriter, Americana, Country and more.

"Both Nashville and the independent music community in general have been incredibly supportive of 2NMC", said Conference Cofounder David Hooper. "We are very excited about this year's event, and have big things planned. As with last year's conference, our aim is to empower musicians and others in the independent music industry...to provide the knowledge and resources
necessary to succeed in a changing music industry."

Artists interested in participating in 2NMC must submit a CD or cassette, bio, photo, current press kit, non-refundable processing fee ($15 before June 15; $20 before July 30; $25 before August 15 and a completed showcase application form. Online submission forms are available at www.2nmc.com.The final deadline for submissions is August 15, 2002.
