Reseal Signs Two...

Reseal Ltd. signs two letters of intent with Ranftl-Wekutek GmbH to manufacture proprietary plastic lid. Resal Ltd. is the 96% subsidiary of Advanced Technology Industries,Inc. Ranftl-Wekutek GmbH is plastics engineering and tool manufacturing company.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRIES SUBSIDIARY RESEAL SIGNS TWO LETTERS OF INTENT WITH RANFTL-WEKUTEC FOR PRODUCTION OF INNOVATIVE PROPRIETARY PACKAGING

May 30, 2002 Berlin -- Advanced Technology Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: AVDI) (ATI") and its 96% owned subsidiary, RESEAL, are pleased to announce that RESEAL has entered into two Letters of Intent which will form the basis of a production agreement and a cooperation agreement with Ranftl-Wekutec GmbH, commencing mass production of the Starcan , RESEALs innovative resealable beverage packaging system. Ranftl-Wekutec is a plastics engineering and tool construction company based in Munich, which supplies manufacturing tools and plastic molds to large automobile manufacturers, automotive supply companies and sports equipment manufacturers throughout Europe.

Under the cooperation agreement, Ranftl-Wekutec will manufacture the plastic injection molds to be used in the production of the proprietary plastic lid of the Starcan. ATI and RESEAL anticipate using Ranftl-Wekutecs technical expertise in standardized mass production of combinations of hard and soft plastics to successfully introduce the Starcan into the European beverage packaging industry. Upon reaching a final agreement, Ranftl-Wekutec will begin manufacturing standardized production tools and equipment for the production of the Starcan system, ensuring that a high quality and consistent standard of manufacturing is maintained worldwide. Ranftl-Wekutec, ATI and RESEAL anticipate reaching a final cooperation agreement by June 30, 2002, which they expect will enable RESEAL to meet its production targets for 2002.

Under the production agreement, Rantfl-Wekutec will become the exclusive manufacturer of the Starcan resealing plastic lid for distribution in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The production will be in two plastic parts for integration into a soft seal system. Upon reaching a final agreement, Rantfl-Wekutec will manufacture the proprietary lids and deliver the produced lids to third parties for final assembly of the Starcan resealing system. Ranftl-Wekutec, ATI and RESEAL anticipate reaching a final production agreement by June 30, 2002.
