Born Again Christians Protest at the SAMHAIN Film Studio in Montreal

Born Again Christians arrived at the studio door of the new Horror Film SAMHAIN demanding to talk to the studio owner...according to them he was assisting the Devil in his work by accomodating the Film Set.

Canada, May 29, 2002.

SAMHAIN, the shocking horror film created by Warehouse Films has created such a controversial buzz about town due to its dynamic cast and subject matter that even the Born Again Christians have their backs up.

Warehouse Films had almost wrapped the production SAMHAIN, which is being shot in Montreal, when a group of Born Again Christians showed up at the studio door demanding that the work of the Devil be stopped". The owner of the studio took the protestors aside to explain to them that they were not witnessing dead bodies being brought in and out of the studio, rather plastic replicas of actors corpses which were created by Maesto FX Studios. The buckets of artificial blood and corpse reproductions are so lifelike that the Born-Again Christians found it hard to believe. They requested to meet the producer and director, who are clearly carrying out the Devils orders and are in need of salvation."

The owner of the studio was confronted by the frustrated group. They requested to be granted permission to bring in the leader of their parish to perform an exorcism on him. Being the laid back, alternative and open-minded individual the studio owner is, he submitted himself to the exorcism process. The Born Again Christians believe that since the content of some movies is sinful, then Christians ought not to go to the movie theatre at all since those looking on will not know whether or not you are going to see an unwholesome movie or not…"

Production of the film continued without any more interruptions due to the fact that the Born Again Christians were successfully convinced by the studio owner, that the Samhain crew and cast were not doing the work of the devil, simply creating one of this years most terrifying horror films which contains props and special effects so real to the naked eye that civilians need to be convinced that it is just make believe".

SAMHAIN is scheduled for release this Halloween 2002.
