Kari Dalton and Anthony Abboud Co-Chair Syracuse Chapter Young CPAs Committee

SYRACUSE, N.Y., June 6, 2002 -- Kari M. Dalton, CPA, and Anthony T. Abboud, CPA, have recently been appointed co-chairs of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) Syracuse Chapter Young CPAs Committee. The Young CPAs is a group of Certified Public Accountants under the age of 35 that meet regularly for the purposes of networking, information sharing, problem solving and socializing. Kari Dalton is employed as a Senior Accountant with the firm Fagliarone Group CPAs,PC. Anthony Abboud is employed as a Supervisor with the firm Firley, Moran, Freer & Eassa, P.C.

For the remainder of 2002, the Young CPAs Committee is planning several activities for its members, including: a second annual state-wide Young CPA Forum that is being held in Syracuse on July 25th and 26th; a networking happy hour in the Fall; participation in the ARC of Onondaga County race in September; and a food and toy drive during the holiday season.
