XlineSoft has released DB-HTML Express 3.0 for Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP, a program that lets users convert all major databases to HTML or PDF documents.

Do you have a gold mine of data yet have no way to get it on the Web or a CD-ROM? This program can help, and doesn't require much technical knowledge. DB to HTML Express is a template-based tool capable of converting database files to static, search-enabled HTML documents, without the use of an additional editor. The program supports standard databases, such as Access or Oracle, as well as any ODBC database. Not only will the program prepare text-based data, it will even utilize your database's graphic image files.

DB to HTML Express furnishes a tabbed interface, where you can generate HTML documents following a few steps. Once you've connected to your database, you'll select a table and build an SQL query, or load an existing SQL script to be run against the data.

All editing work, including HTML is visual, so the program can even write the script for you. You can specify a layout, which can present your data in an index- or spreadsheet-style format. Data may also be exported to a plain text, XML or even to PDF document. View interactive previews as you select background, color, text and footer style properties. You'll have the ability to view, edit your template, which can be saved for later use. Then, have the program build the HTML files and view the results from the built-in browser window.

DB to HTML includes powerful advanced features, such as CGI scripting and command line support. The program includes help documentation to explain its functionality. Smart FTP upload allows you to quickly publish changed-only files. All generated HTML and image files can be converted to a single PDF file that is perfect for online distribution or presentations. After you create DB to HTML Express project you can publish your data to the Web with a single mouse click.

DB to HTML Express 3.0 for Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP costs $129 for a single-user license. Network and site licenses are available. Evaluation version (21-days trial period) can be downloaded from http://www.xlinesoft.com/db2html/download.htm
