The Gemplus Developer Conference (GDC) is the only developers conference in the world focused on smart card technology and the exciting applications that incorporate it. Over 35,000 developers worldwide are already registered with Gemplus online Developer Program and last years event in Paris welcomed 500 participants from 50 countries.
This year, in response to the recent explosion of smart card technology in Asia, Gemplus has chosen for the first time to host the GDC 2002 in Singapore.
The prestigious 3-day event will comprise a combination of plenary sessions, conferences, workshops and tutorials led by some of the industrys leading experts from a mixture of R&D laboratories, wireless operators, IT companies, universities and so on. Designed to provide the global developer community with the tools and expertise required in their business, GDC 2002 will focus primarily on developments in Java CardTM/Wireless Java, Security in Identity & Privacy Applications, Open & Interoperable Smart Card Applications, and 3G Network & Services.
