Announcement of new partnership with Association Magazine to deliver a new 'technology for non-profits' column.
MM+A is pleased to announce our new partnership with Association Magazine to deliver a regular column exploring the ways in which the convergence of technology, marketing and communications affects not-for-profits, and how charities and associations can take advantage of the new capabilities technology makes available to extend reach and enhance their effectiveness.
Sandy L Humphrey, Editor of Association Magazine, is very excited about the new relationship. I know Margie Mastrangelo from her work with CSAE (Canadian Society of Association Executives), and she has an excellent reputation within the sector. Having her expertise available to our readership in the form of a regular column is a great resource."
With every issue, we will be touching on a different aspect of how technology, communications and marketing intersect, and how the synergies that are created can be applied to the unique situations of not-for-profits. Our first article, 10 steps to Managing Technology Effectively in the Not-for-Profit framework, appears in the June /July issue, and will be followed by others dealing with such topics as securing sponsorship and non-due revenue, developing effective member-only areas for web sites, identifying and promoting your assets, re-positioning communications for the Internet, and a host of other topics.
