GIFT BASKET ENTREPRENEUR DONATES GIFT TO AIDS AWARENESS EVENT, RECEIVES PRAISE
Moved with compassion for those less fortunate, she vows to "give something back". In her online business she gives away a beautiful gift basket every month. In an industry that doesn't sport sky-high profit margins her gifts are sometimes sacrificial.
LAKE FOREST, CA -- Gloria Simeon is an entrepreneur like few others. When she worked for corporate America she was always seeking ways to give to others, even giving from her
personal savings. Now that she has her own business she intends to do even more.
"If we all just give something back we can make a huge difference in people's lives." says Simeon. And she means it.
In her online business she gives away a beautiful gift basket every month. In an industry that doesn't sport sky-high profit margins her gifts are sometimes sacrificial.
"It's about more than just making money," she says.
Her giving goes beyond just material things as well. Last year a customer called from Georgia needing a very last minute gift for Mother's Day. Where many vendors would have simply said "Too late" Gloria took extra time to calm the customer's anxieties and fill the order. Which is why many of Gloria's customers consider themselves to be 'lifetime'
customers.
In her business, Gloria gives of her creative talents every time she fills an order. She says, "My designs are unique. We offer gift solutions tailored to the customer's need for corporate, business and individuals and for any occasion."
Gloria loves to give from her abundance, which was evidenced recently by the generous gift she gave to the AT&T's Alliance of Black Telecommuters Employees and the Black Women's Forum to benefit a book signing for Hydeia Broadbent.
Gloria gladly gave a basket valued at over $150 for the event and received praise from those in attendance. Organizers assured Gloria that they would call on her again.
At a time of turmoil in the world, and with an economy in recession, Gloria Simeon believes in giving. Not giving to get or for as some marketing ploy, but giving from the heart.
