New Pageant Seeks Plus-Size Beauties!

Los Angeles, - USPageants announced today its new beauty pageant "Miss Large & Lovely" for plus-size women. The "Miss Large & Lovely" beauty pageant is set to take place October 4-5, 2002 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in Southern California.

Ladies between the ages of 16 to 40 are invited to participate in the two-day pageant, with the opportunity to win a one thousand dollar cash scholarship and a host of other prizes and gifts.

Representatives in the "Miss Large & Lovely" beauty pageant participate in eight required competitions. Photogenic photo, portfolio, personal interview, talent, fashion model, casual wear, evening gown, and a second interview.
