IDBS to Deploy AVS OpenViz Data Visualisation Technologies within ActivityBase

ID Business Solutions (IDBS), provider of data management software applications for drug discovery, and Advanced Visual Systems (AVS), supplier of interactive data analysis and visualisation software, today announced that IDBS will incorporate AVS OpenViz technologies into the IDBS software suite — strengthening the data visualisation capabilities within ActivityBase.

Guildford, United Kingdom and Waltham, Massachusetts, 20th June, 2002 — ID Business Solutions (IDBS), provider of data management software applications for drug discovery, and Advanced Visual Systems (AVS), supplier of interactive data analysis and visualisation software, today announced that IDBS will incorporate AVS OpenViz technologies into the IDBS software suite — strengthening the data visualisation capabilities within ActivityBase.

ActivityBase is the biopharmaceutical industry standard data management application for drug discovery, enabling scientists to capture, manage and use chemical and biological data in an integrated software environment. ActivityBase 5.1, to be released later this year, will encompass — as standard — the OpenViz components for data analysis, visualisation, graphics and data interactivity.
