So You Want To Be A Cop

Two veteran police officers release E-book and website for persons interested in becoming police officers.

So you want to be a cop?
If you asked that question to a youngster in school, not too long ago the answer would have probably been "Not really". However ever since 9/11 there has been a renewed interest in police officers and also a new attitude towards them. They are no longer the faceless uniforms that may ruin your day with a ticket but rather the sentinel heroes that may save the day. It's actually cool to want to be a cop now.

But where does someone interested in becoming a cop get information? Veteran police officers Jeff Bonilla and Frank Pickens have turned their critically acclaimed book "So you want to be a cop" into an ebook and created a website dedicated to persons interested in entering this profession. They lead aspiring police officers from the initial testing process to achieving vetearan officer status. It covers all the pitfalls that can happen in a career as well as how to avoid them. They also put you inside the oral interview in the "microwave chair" fielding questions and scenarios and at the beginning of each chapter they have a fictional character that goes through the ordeals just as a new recruit might.

The website has a message board and chat room where people can ask questions and relate their experiences in becoming cops. There are also over a hundred links to other law enforcement sites.

The testimonials they have recieved from persons that have read the book and went on to have a career speak for themselves. If you want to be a cop, or you are curious what really goes on behind the badge, you have to read "So you want to be a cop" which is available at: http://members.aol.com/reducer/index.html
