Rockville, MD---June 27, 2002 – Betsy Fein, a local entrepreneur, has announced the launch of Clutterbusters!!, a Rockville-based agency which will focus on the unique organizational needs of handicapped, elderly, as well as dual income families who have little time or motivation to declutter" their homes.
There are many people who, for whatever reason, cannot commit to the time and effort it takes to re-arrange the clutter that has piled up for years in their homes. Many times, it takes an outsider to work through the clutter and trash what needs trashing, and straighten what needs straightening," says Ms. Fein, a management graduate of Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition, there are many people, like the physically or mentally handicapped, or elderly, who find it incredibly challenging to de-clutter their homes."
Many people are embarrassed and despondent over the state of their cluttered rooms, even to the point of avoiding having guests over, or closing off the room entirely. Weve found that ‘de-cluttering provides an immediate lift in spirits for my clients, and a great sense of satisfaction for my ‘Clutter Removal Technicians as well. Everyone just feels great after a project is completed," Ms. Fein noted.
Weve de-cluttered garages you would have to see to believe," says Ms. Fein. They were stacked to the rafters with boxes of unidentified items, spilled cans of oil on the floor, toxic insecticide powders strewn about, dirty rags, and other hazardous items. For less expense than the average visit from a plumber, people can regain the use of these garages for cars, bikes, or whatever they see fit, in addition to being able to find what they might be looking for."
One area weve decided to focus on," said Ms. Fein, is the special needs of physically or mentally handicapped people, or the elderly, who may require assistance to reorganize their homes. Our Technicians are sensitive to the needs of these individuals, and have logged many successful experiences."
Ms. Fein also noted Clutterbusters!! success with paper management" projects. We like to call it the ‘five minute rule," said Ms. Fein. If you cannot find a particular piece of paper---like a bill or birth certificate---in five minutes, you should consider a professional organizer."
Many times, Clutterbusters!! will start a de-clutterfication project and find that other organizational services might be needed. That is why its technicians are trained in several other areas as well, including party planning, scrapbook/photo album organizing, and file system creation. Clutterbusters!! also offers a wide array of items to help get organized, including file boxes, cabinets, bike hooks, even electronic organizers.
Our motto, which we hope Ray Parker, Jr. wont mind us ‘borrowing, is, ‘If theres something cluttered, and it dont look good. Who ya gonna call? CLUTTERBUSTERS!!"
We aint afraid of no mess!!," Ms. Fein concluded.
