TOP-RATED POETRY & WRITING WEB COMMUNITY FOR SALE

After 5 years, LoveStories.com, a high-traffic, highly acclaimed poetry and writing community is being offered at auction. Package includes 16 other related quality domains.

BROKEN ARROW, OKLAHOMA, July 8, 2002 - Backup Computer Resources, Inc. announced today that it is listing at auction its high-traffic, highly acclaimed poetry and writing community, LoveStories.com as part of a package. The auction will open today at Afternic.com, and run for 14 days, with bids starting at $100,000.

Originally created as an ad sales model, LoveStories.com generated over $75,000 in revenue in 2000, but the Internet economy shifts influenced founder Alanna Webb to recently convert the community to a paid membership system. In addition, the community is poised to become a hybrid combining ad sales, memberships, and e-commerce.

LoveStories.com receives an average of 2 million page views and 180,000 visitors monthly. LoveStories has been ranked as the #1 grassroots poetry community, with link popularity rivaling corporations such as Coke, Lancome, McGrawHill, The Gap, Mrs. Fields, etc.*** LoveStories has been featured in all types of media, including US Today, LA Times, US Magazine, HGTV, A&E TV, and FoxTV. LoveStories received a 2-page profile in the 2001 Poet's Market, and has been featured in numerous books.

"I am very proud of what I have built in the past 5 years. I have decided to sell because I would like to devote more time to my family," explains founder Alanna Webb. "Also, I feel that I have taken the site as far as I can alone. What we have been weak in for the past 18 months is marketing and sales. I would like to sell the community package to a company who can provide these resources to maximum it to the next level."

The auction package will include LoveStories.com (with the federally registered trademark), AgelessLove.com (the leading community for age gap relationships), and 16 related domains including ilovepoems.com, ilovestories.com, lovepoets.com, and mypoems.com. All transfer fees will be incurred by the buyer. Alanna Webb will be available for consulting for 30 days after transfer.
