NAPERVILLE RESIDENT HEADS TELECOM TRAINING AT TELCORDIA-LISLE
Telcordia Learning Center in Lisle, Illinois, announces that Ron Ouellette of Naperville has executive responsibility for all instructor-led training at its telecom training facility based in west surburban Chicago.
Lisle, Ill., July 15, 2002 -- Ronald G. Ouellette of Naperville has been designated as the executive director of all instructor-led telecommunications training at the Telcordia Learning Center in Lisle. He is responsible for overseeing classroom and lab-based technical training on the latest technologies for employees of the telecommunications industry.
Within his purview are responsibilities for the development and delivery of courses pertaining to subjects such as switching; transport; installation and quality assurance; power, grounding, and protection; wireless communications, broadband and data networking; Next Generations Networks; and telecommunications fundamentals and planning. Courses take place on-site at the residential learning and conference facility, as well as at public and customer sites internationally. Many of the courses are also available in a live, online format. Performance improvement consulting for customers in various business or technology industries is also a service under his administration.
Ouellette began his telecommunications career in 1970 when he joined the company formerly known as New England Telephone as an engineer in Maine. Since 1982 he has been located at the Learning Center in Lisle, where he has developed, taught, and directed training that pertains to the operation and maintenance of telecommunications networks.
