Howard J. Goldman, CEO of Canton-based Humboldt Storage and Moving, has been named a Certified Relocation Professional by the Employee Relocation Council, after passing the CRP exam at the Councils meeting held recently in Orlando, Florida.

Formed in 1964, the Employee Relocation Council is a professional membership organization dedicated to developing and sharing cost-effective, innovative and caring solutions to support the mobile workforce. Current membership includes a global community of professionals who provide employee relocation services both within the United States and internationally.

Howard Goldman is the third generation to run his familys business. Working his way up through the ranks at Humboldt Storage and Moving, Howard held positions as mover, sales representative, operations manager, sales manager and general manager, accumulating more than 20 years of experience in moving. He is an honors graduate of the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, with a degree in political science and economics.

Howard sits on the board of directors of the Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM) and the Massachusetts Movers. He chairs AIMs Workers Compensation Oversight Committee and AIMs Mutual Insurance Committee, and participates in the Boston Chamber of Commerces Government Affairs Committee. Howard Goldman is also a member of the Womens Educational & Industrial Union, the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, and the Employee Relocation Council.
