Teen Hangout- The Place to Be Online for Teens: Press Release

Teen Hangout is a community of teens that is run by Teens. At has been started about 3 months ago and has continued to grow in it's features. It is a place where teens can share ideas and thoughts and is 100 % run by teens.

Local high school students in John Jay High School, Hopewell Junction, started Teen Hangout. Fahim Saleh, a local high school freshman that just wanted a place in which he could start his web mastering interests and at the same time provide some interesting content for people like himself, presented the original idea of Teen Hangout. There was no budget for the site, so therefore no investment was put into it. The whole site was created by using various script sources online and using utilities on a computer, as in Photoshop. Because hosting for a website, as well as a domain would cost money, an exchange was made for a domain and hosting for a powered by button on the site. And thats when the whole site started, something out of nothing with absolutely no investment. Then the content was set up by some of his friends at John Jay High School, as well as himself.

Fahim Saleh says, I hope this will be enjoyable for teenagers everywhere around the world, I just hope it can beat all those other big teen sites but Im sure we can because those sites dont really put much effort into their sites as my staff and I do."

Teen Hangout is a place where teens can just talk and get advice about things teenagers are interested in. Its also a place where Teens can get information about all aspects of life that maybe important to them. Unlike other Teen Sites, this site is not just merely a place to communicate with each others; there are other aspects of the site that interest viewers as well. Such as an eCard system, auctions system for teenagers, quizzes, chat, forums, games, and much more. There is also up to date content that is written by the admins of the site or the members themselves. The admins of the site arent adults but teens also who work with each other to provide good, accurate, and reliable content. The articles found on the site show the point of views by teenagers like myself. The site is 100 % started by a teen, run by a teen, and made for teens.

Teen Hangout is partnering up with many other sites such as HighSchoolHumor.com which is also a site created for teens and made by teens. Teen Hangout provides a place where teenagers all over the world can express ideas and just be themselves.
