Trying to find a photo or image on your PC?
Working with images and digital photos has become part of our daily task. But the dream of having excellent photos on your PC easily turns into a nightmare when you start searching for that specific image you need right now.
Piet Henning, engineer by profession, had to come up with a solution for his marketing people. He subsequently developed Photo Album 6 - a software tool to manage images and photos.
Photo Album 6 addresses the issues of filing images in an organized way and searching it with a "mouse over" facility displaying the photo as the mouse moves over the file name.
Right-click any of the search results or displayed photos and you have a huge selection of special tasks like "Save As", "Rotate" (very handy for the times you angled the camera),
"Print", "E-mail", "Rename", "Copy" and many more.
The program also allows you to print a selection of images on a matrix of one per page up to 10 x 10 per page on any orientation.
One of the most popular functions is the CD-Maker. It enables you to set up albums on self contained CD's and is widely used on the new business card CD's. It also serves as backup.
The success of this software can be contributed to the fact that the author is "user and results" driven. The interface does not beat about the bush with many menus and sub-sub menus. Instead there are a few buttons to do the job. Photo Album 6 has all the usual features like digital albums, slide shows, presentations, graphics and editing facilities.
Tried and tested by webmasters, professional photographers and sales people, Photo Album 6 makes managing your photos that much easier. And at US$39 it is within reach of most people.
