LAS VEGAS -- December 20, 2002: The adult stars are back and baring it all for a good cause. The 2nd annual "Night of Adult Stars", hosted by Las Vegas Plush Magazine, at Sapphire Gentlemens Club on Thursday, January 9th, 2003 at 10pm will feature the adult industry's top stars raising money for the National Hopeline Network 1(800)SUICIDE. Coinciding with the Consumer Electronics Show and the Adult Entertainment Expo, this event and its sister event, Girls of the Internet 3 (lvrocks.com/goti) scheduled earlier in the week, are open to the public and designed to increase awareness and raise funds for this noble cause.
Sunset Thomas and Dave Cummings will host, with Christi Lake as co-host. The all-star event will feature stage shows from Straw, Tara Wild, Alexis Fire, Kiki Daire, Maria the Snakebabe and more. Many mainstream and adult stars have been, and are invited to support the event.
The Hopeline Network simply brings the knowledge; skill and resources of existing Crisis Centers under the safety net of a single, easy-to-remember, toll-free telephone number 1(800)SUICIDE. Peter and Andrew Housley co-publishers of Las Vegas Plush Magazine became involved with the Hopeline Network as a result of the suicide death of their brother in August 2002.
Suicide is especially prominent in the Adult Industry," said Peter Housley, We must increase awareness, and create solutions to help."
Live audio and video coverage of the event will be webcast via the NEW Urge Entertainment Network (www.UrgeNetwork.com). Internet users can login to watch interviews, feature shows and more; all broadcast LIVE from the event at no cost. Donations will be accepted via the website during the broadcast.
