Working Women on the Web Join Forces to Launch A Marketing Cooperative
WWWPacks is a co-op where small business women working on the web and around the globe promote one another through a free exchange of business information and coupons distributed by you in WWWPacks included in your online orders, sales and recruiting information packets and handed out at tradeshows and other events attended by business women.
During a time when new Internet-based marketing methodologies are rapidly emerging and gaining popularity as the most sought-after" marketing techniques in todays high-tech business arena, two savvy entrepreneurs introduce a new concept that intertwines both technology and off-line creativity into one neat package-more specifically, a WWWPack. Lori Callen and Julie Ryals recently joined forces to create a unique co-op marketing opportunity for women doing business on the Web and around the globe to encourage them to promote one another through the free exchange of business information and coupons.
Women worldwide have already begun to take part in the exchange in an effort to help promote one another in business. The process is simple. Each participant decides on the number of fillers she can provide to other businesses that, in turn, provide fillers to her. Fillers include business cards, mini flyers, postcards, bookmarks, or other creative marketing materials. She then exchanges the fillers with as many other participants she wishes to partner with. The fillers are assembled in envelopes or clear packages and disbursed through divergent outlets to include order shipments, tradeshows, community events, and other functions attended by women. A tradeshow event could easily put hundreds, even thousands, of fillers into the hands of potential new clients.
The advertising packs are not a new concept in the direct mail marketing arena, but they certainly introduce a new twist to an old trick. Perhaps, the most enticing element is that it costs absolutely nothing to participate. While other companies are spending a small fortune engaging in costly advertising campaigns, women around the globe are opting for this cost-free method of advertising their products and services.
Lori Callen, co-founder states, WWWPacks (Working Women on the Web Packs) are a low-cost way for women to promote their businesses throughout a larger territory than they ever imagined possible, enabling them to reach potential clients they may never be able to reach on their own." Callen is the owner of Webhuggs.com, a Web site design firm that has participated in similar ad exchange programs for the past few years.
Callens partner in this joint venture, Julie Ryals, is the owner of TheMouseConnection.com, a company providing interactive solutions for businesses worldwide. I have witnessed first-hand the benefits of co-op marketing and wanted to play a vital role in creating an outlet for other women on the Web so they can experience the same results."
The Web site, http://www.wwwpacks.com, is currently receiving hundreds of visitors each day and the list of packer" participants is growing as it gains popularity. Julia Samaniego, independent consultant for Lucious Lace (http://www.luciouslace.safeshopper.com), exclaims, This site is very helpful for women entrepreneurs to be exposed to a much broader area for marketing our businesses. I applaud Lori and Julie for making this resource possible for us."
