Where Theres Smoke Theres Nagging
Houston-based Weekly Warning nags and warns the smoker or smokeless tobacco user in your
life for you. Weekly Warning was started in 1996 for the purpose of helping people help their
loved ones become more informed about the specific health hazards of smoking and smokeless
tobacco use and to help further push people toward making a commitment to quit tobacco.
For a fee Weekly Warning will send postcard or email messages directly to the tobacco user of
your choice on a weekly basis for an entire year. The messages can be sent anonymously or with
the senders name attached. The messages are poignantly written based on current medical
information and cut down to their most jarring essence. The hope is that one, a few or all of the
messages will hit a nerve with the tobacco user.
The company has had customers from all corners of the US and Canada and hopes to appeal to
an international audience with the recent addition of warning messages in multiple languages.
Instead of relying only on broadcast information from health organizations or mandatory
warning messages provided on tobacco product packaging, Weekly Warning seeks to provide a
focused person to person method of relaying the frightening truths about tobacco and health.
