PC Link Technologies, Inc. Develops Holistic Approach to PC Building, Repair, Maintenance

IRVING, TEXAS -- Robert Kientz, owner of PC Link Technologies, Inc. (www.pcltech.com), has developed a unique holistic approach to computer system design, repair and maintenance that keeps his clients' PCs running smoothly.

Kientz, a Microsoft Certified Professional with nearly 10 years of computer experience, sees hardware and software not as separate entities, but as one unit that must act in concert.

Putting to use his broad background in PC hardware and software, Kientz started the company in early 2002 and already plans a major Web site upgrade in 2003. Among the site's new features will be a company newsletter and expanded tips and tricks for PC users.

"I can always work for a company fixing their computer problems, " said Kientz, who has worked for Southwestern Bell, Enron Broadband, Aegis, Compucom and ProxyMed, among others. "However, by owning my own company, I get to concentrate on the individual users' needs and concerns.

"Owning my own company allows me to customize my service levels so that my customers always feel completely satisfied and know that they are the main focus of my efforts, without all the red tape."

Dallas/Ft. Worth-area-based PC Link Technologies offers:
•   On-site troubleshooting, upgrades and repair
•   Internet communications design and setup
•   Data recovery
•   Virus removal
•   Any other services required to keep clients' PCs operating smoothly.

Kientz provides technical support in the areas of computer desktops, notebooks, servers, routers, switches and networks. His major software experience includes Microsoft Windows NT, 98, 2000 and XP; all MS Office programs; Lotus Notes; Netscape; Novell; AS400; Linux and Unix operating systems; HTML; and Microsoft Outlook.

He is a Microsoft Certified Professional in Windows NT, NT Servers and the NT Enterprise. He also has passed Microsoft's Networking Essentials exam and CompTIA's A+ hardware tech exam.

"The mission of PC Link Technologies is to provide computing and network solutions to small business, home office and residential customers," Kientz said. "We provide a combination of diverse technical expertise, personal attention and a professional approach to any computing or networking need."

PC Link Technologies also builds computer systems.

"Whether it's a home computer used for tracking stocks or a gaming computer with the latest technology, we build each computer with the care and craftsmanship one would expect from the best systems," Kientz said. "We build all computers with upgrading in mind, and we offer technical assistance by e-mail and phone.

"Each system is tested rigorously, then delivered and installed by experts."
