MedCases Erectile Dysfunction Site a Finalist for the 2003 Codie Awards

PHILADELPHIA, January 07, 2003 - EDCME (www.edcme.com), a MedCases medical education program, was chosen as a finalist in the category of Best Online Science/Technology/Medical Service for the 18th Annual Codie Awards. The awards, sponsored by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), are a peer recognition program that honors excellence in the industrys products, services, and achievements.

The EDCME Web site was created by MedCases to educate physicians about the latest advances in the diagnosis and management of patients with erectile dysfunction (ED). The site features eight simulated patient encounters. Through this program physicians diagnose and treat these simulated patients online, receive instant feedback about their approaches, and earn continuing medical education (CME) credit.
