Trade-Ideas Expands List of Alert Features and Grows Reputation as a First Class Decision Support Tool to the Hedge Fund and Institutional Communities

Trade-Ideas added new advanced alerts and filters to its powerful, real-time decision support application today. These additions improve Trade-Ideas' ability to show targeted, actionable, and relevant trading opportunities in real time. Any trading or risk management scenario is now possible.

(PRWEB) January 10, 2003 -- Traders often wait for the same stocks to fit a preferred trading pattern before acting. Trade-Ideas increases a trader's capacity for making better trades by identifying these preferred trading patterns - regardless of the stock.

Below is a summary of the new features. - 6 New Alerts
• Gap Up Reversal
• Gap Down Reversal
• Channel Breakout
• Channel Breakdown
• New High Bid (filtered)
• New Low Ask (filtered)

Below is a link to the alert descriptions. More alert innovation is on the way!

2 New Filters
• Clients now filter for size on the bid or offer for either NYSE or NASDAQ stocks. Receive alerts based on adjustable minimum sizes on the bid or offer when the alert takes place.
• Filters now perform real-time volume comparisons that only show stocks that are trading, for example, 2 times as much as they normally do at this time of day (accumulative to each volume tick during the day and based on a 30 day rolling average).

These new "inside the market" filtering options recognize opportunities that are tradable according to a unique trading or risk management preference. Below is the link that further describes the filters:

Trade-Ideas alerts its customers to trade opportunities in real-time in order to make better trades and manage risk. As a configurable decision-support tool, it tailors itself to fit specific trading or risk management strategies.

Recent reviews from HedgeWorld, Active Trader magazine, stock newletters, and leading partners describe the service as an accurate, discriminating alert provider that is flexible, simple to deploy, and easy to use. A free trial is offered for 7 days, is cancelable at any time, and is available after registering with Pay Pal.

Trade-Ideas is a privately owned corporation established in San Diego, CA in 2002 with offices in Atlanta, GA and more than ten combined years of software development and technical analysis modeling.
