Lingo Systems Announces New President
Translation and Localization company in Portland, OR hires new President.
Lingo Systems, a translation and localization company located in Portland, Oregon, announces the appointment of Scott J. Ludwigsen as the company's new President. Ludwigsen, who is a CPA, has extensive multi-national experience. He most recently served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Finnforest USA, a subsidiary of the Finnish forest products leader, Metsaliito. Previously, Ludwigsen led a management buyout, purchasing the Woodward & Dickerson division from ConAgra, Inc. in 1994. This business, which was headquartered in Portland, specialized in the wholesale distribution of forest products and operated both production and sales facilities around the globe. Before the acquisition, he was a Vice President with ConAgra.
Ludwigsen began his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 1980, spending eight years in their Philadelphia office. He also served as Controller for the U.S. operations of Johnson Matthey, a UK based leader in precious metals from 1988 to 1991.
