Lingo Systems announces assignment of United States Registered Trademark

Portland, OR based company obtains official trademark.

Portland, OR -- Lingo Systems, a translation and localization company located in Portland, Oregon, announces the award of a registered trademark for the Lingo Systems name and logo, by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Jeff Williams, Lingo Systems Marketing and Programs Manager made the announcement in December. "This brings a conclusion to a more than three year quest to obtain the trademark for Lingo Systems. The trademark process is critical to protecting and managing our brand," says Williams.

The official registry will protect the Lingo Systems brand from other companies in the industry trying to utilize any elements of the Lingo Systems brand in their own marketing and branding campaigns. "With our Guide to Translation and Localization now recognized as the definitive source for companies considering a localization project, the Lingo Systems name and logo is a very valuable asset," adds Williams.
