Tech Benders provides a variety of services to businesses of all types and sizes, including needs analyses to determine hardware and software requirements, installation of selected software packages, troubleshooting, software customization, and training.
According to Fredricks, I decided to establish Tech Benders because I saw that computer training alone does not meet the needs of many companies. It is important to determine who will use the software, what functions the software is supposed to fulfill, what other software is currently being used, what types of reports will be generated, and what types of communications will be prepared with the software. At Tech Benders, we show businesses how to operate more efficiently, and therefore, more profitably."
Fredricks has over 20 years of computer consulting and training experience in South Florida, during which time she has acquired in-depth expertise in the operational requirements of a broad spectrum of businesses. She is the former Director of Technology for Goldstein Lewin & Co., Certified Public Accountants and Consultants in Boca Raton. She is the author of ACT! 6 for Dummies, which is scheduled for publication in March 2003. An ACT! Certified Consultant and an ACT! Premier Trainer, Fredricks was host of the Fort Lauderdale stop of the national launch of ACT! 6.0, which took place in August 2002 and attracted over 450 attendees.
Fredricks is also a QuickBooks Pro Certified Advisor and author of copyrighted training materials for business users of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, WordPerfect, Basic Windows and the Internet.
