LeapPoint Announces Partnership with Digital Data Solutions for Reselling the AiroPoint 3600 Security Server.

ANN ARBOR, Michigan-January 8, 2003-LeapPoint Technologies today announced its partnership with Digital Data Solutions, Inc., a provider of wireless and network security solutions. Digital Data Solutions is now an authorized reseller of the AiroPoint 3600 Security Server, a standards-based, drop-in appliance that solves wireless network security issues. Digital Data Solutions, with offices in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio, will be selling the AiroPoint 3600 security server to meet customer demand for wired and wireless network security.

The AiroPoint 3600 product provides RADIUS user authentication and rotating encryption keys that change periodically, even during a logged in session. The product installs in minutes, with a browser-based GUI that makes configuration very easy. The AiroPoint 3600 supports 802.1x / EAP protocols, as well as the Cisco LEAP protocol and is compatible with Cisco Aironet and other RADIUS-compliant access points. This multi-vendor support and open standards ensures compatibility on any network, and can be used with existing VPNs, Firewalls, Access Points, current RADIUS installations, and other security devices.
