Virtualtech has been creating CD catalogs and brochures since 2001 but has recently purchased a CD duplication machine to offer low cost, low volume CD duplication services. "Our CD catalog design services has been growing steadily over the past two years, but we had been outsourcing the duplication," stated Tammy Miller, Virtualtech's president. "By outsourcing, we lose some of the control over the quality of product and service. We wanted to recapture that control. We were also finding that most of our clients only wanted 50 or 100 CD's duplicated at a time. Duplication companies only wanted to duplicate 500 or more CD's, putting our clients in a poor positon. By having a CD duplication system in-house, we now have control over the entire project and can offer our clients the convenience of only having a few CD's duplicated at a time. By limiting the quantities we provide, we are able to keep our prices down to a reasonable level as well."
