Transclick announces at CES launch of translated SMS, translated email and translated instant messaging over wireless cell phones. See Transclick at CES Booth 38031 South Hall Wireless Pavillion in Las Vegas.

Transclick, a CES Innovations 2003 Award winner, is a web services company that is developing automated text translation services for wireless carriers. Transclick allows one to type a message in English and it arrives by email or SMS in 5 European languages or 3 Asian languages in real-time with high levels of accuracy.

Transclick is a web services infrastructure company enabling customers to significantly reduce costs and communicate seamlessly across language barriers in real-time from any mobile cell phone, corporate enterprise portal or wireless PDA.

Transclick is a multilingual messaging wireless infrastructure company based in Manhattan raising $5 million in Series B" Round. NATO and the US Army are clients of Transclick.

The US Army asked Transclick to add Arabic to its speech to speech translation platform after September 11, 2001. It now works: you speak English, I hear Arabic, with a 20,000 term bilingual military dictionary.

Transclick has acquired an instant messenger that translated English to and from 5 European languages and 3 Asian languages with a 256 bit encyrption security guard. NATO is currently testing this system for intelligence sharing.

Robert Levin, our CEO, founded Transclick in Jan/99 to address the growing need to reduce costs, time delays and revenue loss associated with communication bottlenecks caused by human translation of digital document, email, and web sites that are in languages other than English. Transclicks targeted customers are government agencies, global 1000 corporations, medium/large enterprise companies and consumers using 2.5 G and 3G wireless mobile data services. Transclick is now half way through Phase II of a Small Business Innovation Research Grant and weve successfully created a speech to speech translation" platform and after 9/11, the Army Research Laboratory asked Transclick to add Arabic. It works: you speak English, our system speaks Arabic!. For real-time translation of text to text SMS and instant messaging, Transclicks distribution channels include mobile carriers including Verizon who will market our service and pay $1.25 per month subscription fees of which Transclick will earn 80 cents per month for millions of translations. In August 2002, Transclick signed a contract with MITRE for the exclusive license of a translated instant messaging platform for domain-specific lexicons.

Transclick developed front-end connectors to web-based collaboration tools that access Transclicks farms to create a scalable and modular real-time translation web service. Transclicks technology has proven to be valuable in Beta trials with the US military as well as with NATO.    Our long-term vision is to be the language" bridge between the English speakers and non-English speakers over cell phones, corporate and government portals as well as NGO collaboration portals to further bridge the digital divide. Millions of Latin Americans, Asians and Europeans will be able to communicate and collaborate with millions of Americans via Transclick.

Revenue projections for mobile wireless translated messaging are > $2mm for 2003 from US intelligence agencies, large multinational corporations, the US Department of State, FEMA and other large multinational agencies. More information will be translated from one language to another in the next ten years than in all of recorded history. Based on IDC data, estimates the combined size of the Multilingual Communications and Collaboration tools markets to grow to at least $5B by 2008. The market for translated, secure instant messaging market will be a major part of that. Over 100 billion SMS Messages per month will be sent by the end of 2003. We have one of the top scientists in this field on our team, a Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics, with 7+ years experience in linguistic software product development.

Transclick can save a global corporation or government money, time and even save lives if we translate a threat from Arabic to English before the threat materializes.
