Dale Henry Seeks To Obtain Railroad Commission Appointment From Texas Governor Rick Perry

Henry hopes to serve the un-expired term of Texas Railroad Commissioner Tony Garza

DALLAS/FORT WORTH, Texas -- Kenneth Dale Henry, resident of Mullin, TX has announced his desire to succeed the un-expired term of Railroad Commissioner (RRC) Tony Garza. Dale a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin has submitted his application of appointment to Governor Rick Perry. He believes, that if appointed commissioner he would be able to make a tremendous contribution to the state of Texas and its citizens by joining forces with Chairman Michael L. Williams and Commissioner Charles R. Matthews. Dale is committed to help the RRC, solve the many dilemmas of polluted and shortage of water in the state of Texas. Clean water for wildlife habitat, farmland and the Texas population is one of his primary focuses.

I strongly believe, that the people of the state of Texas should have clean and non-polluted water. Our population is increasing dramatically, if appointed commissioner of the RRC; I know we can play a major role of solving the water shortage and pollution issues. With my experience and background of working with major and private oil and gas operators for the United States and the Middle East, as well as being an active member of the Senate Bill one, Ive educated myself on the dangers of water contamination. We need to develop a clean environmental water solution for the state of Texas," says Dale Henry.

Dale feels a strong kinship towards his possible appointment with the RRC. Looking back on his lineage, it has been discovered that his great, great uncle, Samuel Henry played a vital part in the initial development of the Texas Railroad Commission". It addition, it has been noted that his uncle also served on the 23rd Texas legislature from Navarro County. Dales goal is to continue the generational succession by becoming the next RRC commissioner.

His background and experience in oil and gas is extensive. Dale has a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering, served as Mills County commissioner for four years; City Manager of Lampasas, TX for four years; owned and operated 4 Arrows, Inc., an oil and gas plugging business, for 14 years and is a registered petroleum engineer working with the RRC environmental protection plugging program. His background, education and experience prove that he understands the concepts of preventing contamination of fresh water form abandoned oil and gas wells.
