High tech veteran executive expands Board responsibilities to guide Portland-based audio and web conferencing pioneer

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Encounter Collaborative Corporation announced this week that veteran corporate advisor Mark Reed, of High Ground Partners LLC, will step forward to assist the next-generation collaborative audio and web-based conferencing firm in their growth, serving as vice chairman.

   Founder Bruce Frydenlund remains the chief executive officer of the company, working in tandem with Reed who will advise sales, marketing and the operations of the company. An executive with extensive accomplishments and experience in the high technology industry, Reed has served in the capacity of CEO, president and senior vice president for companies including @once, EnvoyGlobal.com, Lightware, CORD Communications, WebTrends, and InFocus. He is a director on the board of @Once and advises several technology and services companies in the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Reed is well known for his marketing and sales expertise and organizational leadership and is often retained by companies to coach and mentor young leaders.
