"Robbins Revisits The Dream"

A commity was formed in the village of Robbins,II to plan the villages largest Dr.Martin Luther King Day Celebration ever!

You may have heard a media outlet recently "Smite" the Village of Robbins as they painted a picture of dispare and filth being the only day to day operations.

I was able to find some members of the community that strongly disagree with the notion that no one is working to help make Robbins a "Community Connected" The New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church located at 3620-22 W.139th St.has agreed to host this years Dr.Martin Luther King Day Celebration.The entire village of Robbins and friends from surrounding Blue Island and Midlothian have formed a commity to pull together the resources available to the residents of Robbins.

This commity has put together a free luncheon with the help of local Resaurants and community members donating all of the food.

Expect to see representatives from State Treasure Judy Barr Tupinka's office presenting the "Bright Start College Saving Program",there will be a voters registration booth,and a community clothes closet.
