Magic4 ushers in 2003 with new appointments and promotions.

London, 13 January, 2003 -- magic4, the mobile messaging company, today announces two appointments and three promotions in the finale to a highly successful 2002 and the expectation of an even better 2003.

London, 13 January, 2003 -- magic4, the mobile messaging company, today announces two appointments and three promotions in the finale to a highly successful 2002 and the expectation of an even better 2003.

Mike Kent has been promoted to the role of Sales and Marketing Director for magic4. Based in the Paris office, Mike was formerly magic4 Director for Southern Europe where he undertook both general management and marketing responsibility. In his new position, Mike will oversee European and US sales and worldwide marketing. Mike has a successful track record of management roles within blue chip IT and FMCG companies across Europe and the Americas. Prior to magic4, he was Marketing Manager at BAT (including periods in the offices in Chile and Hungary.) and at Motorola Europe within the personal communications division where he conceived and developed Motorola's long-term global youth brand strategy.

Guylaine Klein has been appointed Marketing Manager for magic4, based at its office in La Defence, Paris. Prior to joining the company, Guylaine worked with Oracle for six years in a variety of marketing roles in which she was responsible for marketing activities for the Telecomms vertical within EMEA.

Andy Pearson, formerly Testing Manager with magic4 has been promoted to Product Manager. Before joining magic4, Andy ran the Official Liverpool FC website which he joined from Amaze, a multimedia development company and winner of the British Interactive Multimedia Award.

Steve Kinsley has been appointed Product Manager with magic4. Steve has held a variety of technical and commercial management roles in the telecoms industry for over 12 years. Immediately prior to joining magic 4, he was prepaid mobile and SMS product manager for InterVoice-Brite.

Paul Whitehead, formerly a member of the magic4 MMS testing team, has taken new responsibility as Commercial Manager. Prior to joining magic4, Paul gained over 20 years contract and commercial experience in the aviation industry. Working for Air2000 and Gatwick Handling Ltd., Paul negotiated contracts with government bodies, airlines, ground handling, catering and representative agency organisations.
