SF Bay Area Resident Nominated for EPPIE Award, the "Oscar" in Electronic Literature

Jennie S. Bev, a San Francisco bay area-based author, has been nominated for 2003 EPPIE Award for excellence in electronic publishing under Non-Fiction How-To category.

Daly City (Jan. 14, 2002) --- EPPIE award is the Oscar for excellence in electronic publishing. It is awarded by EPIC, which stands for Electronically Published Internet Connections (http://www.epicauthors.org) since 1999 for quality e-books published by non-subsidy publishers (not self-published).

Jennie S. Bev, a prolific author with 4 books, several book-length manuscripts and some 800 articles published under her belt, has been writing professionally since 1994. She is a graduate of California State University Hayward and UC Berkeley and UCLA extensions. Her bylines have appeared in tens of national and international media. She will be pursuing a doctorate shortly and resides in Daly City, San Francisco bay area.

In August 2002, Jennie had her second book Guide to Become a Management Consultant published by an award-winning electronic publisher based in Canada FabJob.com (http://www.fabjob.com/managementconsultant.asp). Today it is one of the best-selling titles ever published by FabJob.com.

On December 19, 2002, it was nominated for EPPIE award under non-fiction how-to category (http://www.epicauthors.org/~epic-conference/eppie_awards.htm). The winners will be announced at the EPIC black-tie gala ceremony in Tampa, Florida in March 2003.

Her other e-book about the hidden writers' market in writing business/market intelligence reports Write Industry Reports is distributed through WritingCareer.com (http://www.writingcareer.com/bev001.shtml) in January 2003. An industry report on U.S. air filtration market and trends will be released in February 2003 by a prominent East Coast research firm.
