Acceleration Technologies Inc announces their new Web Service Micro Kernel Architecture (WSMKA ) for .NET
Carrollton, TX, US Acceleration Technologies Inc's Web Service Micro Kernel Architecture (or WSMKA ) is a dynamic approach to managing web services with 'hot deployment' of web services, allowing new web services or updates to be brought online without server reboots. This technology has been in use for over a year before this initial release.
Utilizing reflection or introspection (dynamic discovery of operations and attributes of an object), the WSMKA can be passed a series of XML messages and, using the XML message, send the request to the underlying service for execution. This introspection occurs with the help of descriptors (written in XML). Using this approach allows for a layer of 'abstraction' from the real service, giving the system flexibility in balancing and security (using industry standard SSL). Because it relies on XML for messaging, the WSMAK (which has its framework in .NET) can communicate with any type of web service (Java, .NET, even existing sites built with .ASP, .JSP, etc). This allows for heterogeneous systems to communicate back and forth without the knowledge of the 'technology' implemented.
WSMKA can simplify the implementation of web services and allow for 'morphing' new services without disruption of existing systems.
