Professional Association of Artistic Nude Photographers (PAANP) Launches RequestaNude.com, an Online Directory of Photographers of the Human Form
The goal is to make this the most respected source of quality photographers of artistic nudes.
Caņon City, Colo -- January 20, 2003 -- Kenneth Wajda, president of the Professional Association of Artistic Nude Photographers (PAANP) announced today the launch of an online directory of the top photographers of the human form at RequestaNude.com
The directory, which is now in the portfolio review stage-the site is scheduled to be completed by Spring 2003-will feature photographers who have qualified with a professional body of work plus personal and professional references. It will list
photographers in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
The RequestaNude.com directory was started after several clients asked how to find a legitimate photographer who shoots high-quality nudes," Wajda said, photographers who are professional and not just after self-gratification."
The RequestaNude.com directory features photographers who create images with an artistic approach and does not accept photographers of glamour, pin-up, boudoir or pornographic images.
All photographers who are listed in the RequestaNude.com directory (and all PAANP
members) pledge to follow a strict code of ethics, to be professional at all times, respectful and not to make the client's images available to anyone, via public exhibition or private portfolio, without written consent. And to maintain integrity, documented reports of impropriety will be tagged to the photographer's listing.
Another aspect to the site is called the Positive Body-Image Project which aims to create clients out of regular people, male and female of all ages and sizes, not just models. Artistic nudes could be of interest to a mom and her infant, a dad and his baby, families, couples or individuals," Wajda said. The human body is as beautiful as a delicate flower, powerful lion or the latest sports car, but we have often been led to believe that it is unattractive and even immoral to look at. Nothing could be further from the truth."
We regard the nude as art and encourage its depiction, both female and male - in its myriad of shapes and sizes - in a healthy, courteous, respectful and professional environment," Wajda said.
