Our holiday begins on September 9th (complimentary for all guests booking by February 7th) at any Southern California Amtrak station with travel aboard the famous 'Coast Starlight' train up the scenic 'Coast Route' to San Francisco, a routing that follows the Pacific Ocean for 113 miles, a nice and leisurely beginning to any vacation. Upon arrival in San Francisco, we transfer guests to the legendary Mark Hopkins Hotel atop Nob Hill for an overnight stay at this grand hotel with all of the following day free to enjoy the many delights of San Francisco. 10th, we board the Prinsendam of Holland America Line and set sail under the Golden Gate Bridge, bound for Philadelphia and the White House.
