WALNUT CREEK, January 14, 2002---Train Holidays is proud to announce a novel and exclusive program for Spring 2003 'The Great Canadian Train Ride' that combines a journey across Canada aboard the last classic passenger train in North America, the legendary 'Canadian' between Toronto and Vancouver via the Canadian Rockies in addition to two-night visits in Montreal, Toronto and the Canadian Rockies in the acclaimed hotels of Canadian Pacific. Guests enjoy the classic journey across Canada, in comfort and elegance aboard the beautifully restored art deco splendor of the CANADIAN combined with an escorted holiday that features the best of Canada, both aboard the train and 'ashore' in such historic hotels as the Royal York in Toronto, the renowned Jasper Park Lodge, the fabled Banff Springs Hotel and much more.

Our program begins in Montreal on April 15th with a two-night stay at the superb Chateau Champlain Hotel with plenty of free time for enjoying this wonderful city. We have even planned an elegant Afternoon tea for our guests, a nice way to get acquainted. After three days in Montreal, we travel in First Class VIA 1 Club accommodations to Toronto for a two-night stay in this exciting city, staying at the landmark Royal York Hotel with plenty of free time for shopping, sightseeing or even an optional day trip to Niagara Falls. We then board the vista-dome streamliner CANADIAN at Toronto Union Station for our two-night journey west to Jasper in the Canadian Rockies. Our passengers enjoy 'landcruising' in the superb 'Silver & Blue' class First Class sleeping car accommodations, fine dining in the last real dining cars in North America (all meals on board are included), the famous 'Park Car' with its upper level vista-dome, the round-end 'Bullet Lounge' and the intimate 'Mural Lounge' for cocktails, a most indulgent way to cross the continent.

At Jasper, guests savor an overnight stay at the Five Star Jasper Park Lodge and a spectacular tour of the Rockies including the stunning Columbia Icefields Parkway from Jasper to Banff. At Banff, two nights are spent at the fabled Banff Springs Hotel where a day trip to beautiful Lake Louise is included. This is the perfect time of the year for the Rockies, without crowds and with Spring wildflowers just beginning. The final stage of our cross-Canada journey is a final night aboard the CANADIAN between Jasper and Vancouver with daytime viewing of the Rockies from the vista-dome cars, the most scenic way to tour this area. Upon arrival at Vancouver our guests enjoy a two-day stay at the Five-Star Sutton Place Hotel with sightseeing and a special Farewell Dinner before traveling home by train or air.

Complete fares for the entire program, including ALL First Class train travel in Canada with Sleeping car accommodations on the CANADIAN, the deluxe hotel stays in Montreal, Toronto, Jasper and Vancouver, transfers, most meals and much more, start at only $1,995.00 per person making this a superb value for a luxury trip. This tour is fully escorted and will not be repeated. As an added bonus, guests reserving by February 24th qualify for FREE Amtrak travel from their hometown to Montreal before the program and home from Vancouver after the tour from any US city or town!

This is an ideal program for guests that have always wanted to travel aboard the last great train journey in the World as well as the opportunity to visit the Canadian Rockies and prompt reservations are encouraged since this trip always sells out quickly.
