NERO Symposium Dates Announced

The NERO® International Office, based in White Plains, NY, announced that they would hold the first 2003 Business Symposium on February 22 & 23, 2003, at the Ramada Inn Newark International Airport, in Newark NJ.

NERO®, the premier fantasy live action role-playing game in the United States and Canada today, is a mixture between The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Renaissance Faire's. In operation since 1989, NERO® has over 35 Chapters internationally that provide an enjoyable medieval gaming atmosphere to both youths and adults. Staff members create mysteries and scenarios that can last anywhere from a few short hours to many months. Players create characters using the NERO® Rule Book©. At events, the Staff don costumes and interact with the players, giving hints and clues about their plot. The Players interact with each other, putting the hints and clues together, and solve the mystery. Players acquire treasure along the way, in the form of Gold, Silver, and Magic Items (to name but a few) that can be used at any chapter. Players are also given the opportunity to engage in mock combat with mythological creatures like Goblins, Trolls, and Ogres using foam swords and sorcery.
