2002 Staffing Industry Poll By Subcontract.com -Results Published
Over 1,000 authenticated staffing firms participated in an industry poll sponsored by the Subcontract.com Staffing Exchange & VMS
Subcontract.com has published results from the 2002 Staffing Industry Poll. Over one thousand staffing vendors participated in the poll after undergoing Subcontract.coms online vendor authentication process. Authentication includes corporate identity and website validation to ensure a higher quality of data than open industry polls.
Some surprising results include:
-51% of participants indicated that they expect the staffing market to rebound in the first half of 2003. 6.5% believe the market has already started to rebound and 12.2% do not expect a rebound in 2003 at all.
-57% of participants use Monster.com, 35.9% use Hotjobs.com and 24.2% user CareerBuilder.com
-The best quarter for participants in 2002 was the second quarter and the worst was the fourth quarter.
-Participants stated that on average, 41% of their placements were subcontract placements, in which they either supplied to or sourced from another staffing vendor on a contract position.
