St. Louis, MO - Grammy Nominees Bill Gaither and the Gaither Vocal Band, along with more than a dozen of his Homecoming Friends are back on the road, bringing the "Let Freedom Ring" tour across America in 2003. Produced by Clear Channel Entertainment, this critically acclaimed musical event is a live, in-the-round, version of Gaither's double platinum-selling video series.
Bill Gaither leads a cavalcade of singers, musicians and comedians, whose collective talents have been honored with countless awards, including Grammy's, Doves, ASCAP's first-ever Songwriter of the Century Awards and most recently a 2003 Grammy Nomination. And when this "family" gets together, it's a non-stop, 4-hour marathon of hand-clapping, foot-stomping music and laughter -- a spiritual celebration that lives on in the hearts and minds of the fans long after the final note is played.
"The events of the past years have caused us to reflect on what is most important in our lives...faith, family and friends," explains Gaither. "I invite everyone to join me and my Homecoming Friends for a musical extravaganza as we honor the past and celebrate the future."
Joining Gaither on his "Let Freedom Ring," tour are performers Jake Hess, the Gaither Vocal Band, Talley Trio, Isaacs, Ben Speer, Jeff & Sheri Easter, Lynda Randle, Ivan Parker, Jessy Dixon, Taylor Mason, Janet Paschal, Kevin Williams, Anthony Burger, Hoppers, Mike Allen, Booth Brothers, Vestal Goodman and others (line-up subject to changes).
