AWARD WINNING RADIO REPORTER JOINS PR FIRM
Award winning radio personality brings experience to Sonoma County PR fim
Karen Pierce Gonzalez Public Relations announces Ron Kirk, an award-winning radio news personality, has joined the Sonoma County firm.
Kirk, a resident of Santa Rosa, has more than a decade of experience in radio communications.
A five-time Associated Press award winner, including a run of three years as Small Market Radio Reporter of the Year, Kirk was news editor and air talent while at KSRO-AM radio in Santa Rosa. During his time with the radio station, he was awarded Best" in two categories: Best Documentary on the late George Harrison, and Best Use of Sound for his story on the funeral of US Forestry Pilot Larry Groff.
The Southern California native studied radio broadcasting and production at San Bernardino Valley College and later went onto to his first radio station, KERN-AM, in Bakersfield. From there, he surfed the airwaves straight to Sonoma County.
